Shopping in and near the village

The Bank a shopping area in the village centre.

Here we have an agency of the Alliance and Leicester Bank with a cash machine; Wing's the Chinese take away; Sams the Chemist; M.Garatt the Bakers (bread baked on premises, hot and cold snacks); wedding car hire) and a Mercury News shop. A Pizza shop and Nail Boutique have replaced the electrical and vegetable shops.

Several short term parking spaces are available to allow drivers to call at the shops.

The Countesthorpe Fish Bar in the very centre of the village, serving hot take away meals.

There is another group of shops on Station Road, near the lower juction with Gwendoline Drive. There is is a Hairdresser, Barber, Florist, Ark Minimarket and Mercury News.
